The China Australia Geological Storage of CO2 (CAGS) Project is a collaborative project that aims to accelerate the development and deployment of geological storage of carbon dioxide in China and Australia.
Carbon capture and storage (CCS) and carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) are important technologies that can reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Through a series of programs, including research projects, scholarly exchanges, technical workshops and training schools, CAGS supports the development CSS/CCUS capability in China and Australia.
